In a declaration on discord, later Shared on Reddit, Retroid confirmed that its retro handheld shipments had started. However, American customers who ordered Chaiti, Kiwi, or Berry variants would face indefinite delays due to shipping issues. The announcement suggests that the US shipping agents will not accept the inbound shipment from China after April 25, and later the flood of emergency shipping is the reason behind the delay on these special units, which will now miss the time limit.
While Ritroid did not cite a widespread cause for shipping issues, it is almost certainly a renewed knocking of American tariffs on Chinese electronics.
