Foldable e-END readers are now a thing (gallery)

While foldable phones have been in the market for some time, the idea of a foldable e-Enc reader has not been produced in any way, as the Chinese brand Mute has just launched “V”.

Mooink v is the world’s first foldable e-read, packing an 8-inch e-inch display (manufactured in collaboration with E Inc.). The device does not have a set release date or price, but the company says Ruckus) It has now been working on this concept for nine years.

The Mooink V is designed with an aluminum-magnesium alloy and foldables with a difference in the center, but is designed to fully unfold or used at an angle of 90 degrees so that it would feel like a real paper book. Mooink explains (translated):

Mooink v will be the first e-paper product to introduce a pad bending technique to meet the needs of narrow bezel design. Its weight is about 255 grams and can be twisted in half. It has two reading angles: 180 degrees and 90 degrees, which makes the experience close to a paper book. From materials to appearance, this is a full “book”.

The color display can clearly handle over 50,000 colors at the resolution of 300ppi.
